CIPMD offers candidates two primary examination formats to accommodate professional needs while ensuring assessment integrity. Computer-Based Testing (CBT) is conducted through our network of secure testing centers in over 60 countries, providing standardized examination conditions with immediate scoring for objective components. These centers feature advanced security protocols including biometric verification and question randomization algorithms.

For professionals requiring flexible scheduling, we provide Remote Proctored Online Examinations utilizing AI-driven identity verification, continuous screen monitoring, and secure browser lockdown technology. These sessions are available during our biannual examination windows with real-time human proctor oversight.

Our In-Person Written Assessments represent the gold standard for evaluating higher-order competencies, conducted twice yearly at designated CIPMD examination halls globally. Organizations with multiple candidates may arrange corporate examination centers with on-site proctoring by CIPMD-certified invigilators, subject to minimum participation requirements and facility standards.

Our biannual examination cycles occur in March and September each year, with all testing modalities available during these periods. Candidates may attempt each examination component twice within a twelve-month period, with a mandatory 30-day interval between attempts to allow for substantive preparation improvement.
